Why was this component moved?

U1 4001 took the 4009 slot at (114.30, 63.50) during Carly's 2:06 PM session. Her note on the change: "Deviated from spec here. The 4009 is end-of-life at TTI and the 4001 is the closest drop-in, but it needed to shift 2.5 mm off the spec position to clear the connector housing and actually fit on the board. Verified the footprint and the routing still holds."

Questions

How Flashwise keeps your design data private, contained, and under your control.

How is our data kept secure?

Every organization’s data is containerized, isolated from every other customer. Host Flashwise in your own environment, or we host it for you in a private containerized environment where your data never leaves. All of your files, sessions, notes, and flags stay inside it.

How does Flashwise use AI safely with our data?

Your design data is never used to train AI models. Flash runs inside your organization’s private environment, answers only from your own sessions and files, cites where each answer came from, and only shows people what they already have access to.

Can I choose what syncs?

You decide per project. Sync files over GitHub or a secure private environment, or keep a project on your computer only.

Who on my team can see a session?

Admins manage roles and access for the organization. A flag can route to one team or the whole org, so context only reaches the people it’s meant for.

Can I create workflows?

Yes. Build workflows that post to Slack, Discord, or Linear, either on a schedule or whenever a change happens. Send a daily summary of design changes, or alert the test team the moment a CAD file is updated with what changed and which tests to rerun.

Which tools does it work with?

Flashwise captures sessions in KiCad, Altium, SolidWorks, Fusion, and NX, and connects to Slack, Notion, GitHub, and Claude over MCP.
